Installation Instructions

macOS​

  1. Download: Visit the VerifiedX website and download the DMG file appropriate for your system’s architecture (ARM or Intel).
  2. Open the File: Double-click the downloaded file to open it.
  3. Install the Application: Drag and drop the VerifiedX Switchblade app into your Applications folder.
  4. Bypass Security Warnings: If macOS prevents the app from opening:
    • Right-click on the app and select “Open”.
    • Confirm that you want to open the app in the security dialog that appears.
  5. Adjust Security Preferences: If you still encounter issues, navigate to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General, and under “Allow apps downloaded from”, click “Open Anyway” for VerifiedX Switchblade.

Windows​

  1. Download: Navigate to the VerifiedX website and download the EXE installer for your system.
  2. Run the Installer:
    • Double-click the EXE file to start the installation.
    • Follow the on-screen setup wizard to complete the installation.
  3. Handle Security Prompts:
    • If prompted by Windows Defender, click “Run Anyway”.
    • Allow the application through your firewall if required.
    • If necessary, right-click the installer and select “Run as Administrator” to ensure all components are installed correctly.
